  6. Reynoso has frequently said that the street-level mitigations like bike lanes & bus lanes should be retained post-shutdown. In Sept. 2017, he said, "We [must] fight after we’re done here to maintain most of that infrastructure, that we don’t let that go away."

    In 2016 the MTA let people give input into whether they wanted a full for a year and a half or partial shutdown with poor service for 3 years. They chose a year and a half. Communities prepared extensively. We made our peace with it. This is insane.

  11. Today, Cuomo unilaterally overturned three years of work by the MTA so he could look like the hero-savior. But make no mistake, when Cuomo's alternative to the fails spectacularly, he's going to go back to pretending that he's not responsible for the MTA.
