    It takes a team to ensure our patients and staff are safe. A big thank you to our grounds crew for clearing our sidewalks and streets around the clock! And to our employees for heading out all across to pick up nurses and staff to get them safely to Bryan.

    Final update before bed. Snow winding down. Impressive drifting on my deck railing. Anywhere from 12.5 - 14” across the city. Around 13ish” where I am. New daily record & one of snowiest single days since 1948.

    Record snowfall for Jan. 25 in is 6.1 inches, which we will blow past today. Record snowfall for any day in January in the city is 11.4 inches on Jan. 3, 1971.

    Wow. Last wave added to the total. 14.5” official at the airport. Record breaker!

    The final numbers are in for Monday - 14.5” of snow at the Lincoln airport! Good for the 2nd snowiest day on record! This January is now the snowiest January on record AND is now the 7th snowiest month Lincoln has ever seen since records began!!

    Here's a little by the numbers for yesterday's snow in : 14.5 inches is the most ever in one day in January and the second-biggest one-day snowfall in records going back to 1948. The 18 inches so far this month is the most ever for January.
