    We see the impacts of incarceration each day. We had a woman turn herself in to handle a pending charge. She was booked in/out, posting the required bond. She was by herself with infant in tow. Team members stepped up to care for the infant while mom completed process.

    Deputies Shaun Martin & Leon Traska received the Heroic Achievement Award for their response to a head-on collision on I-75. Despite the fire & gasoline quickly spreading from both vehicles, deputies put their personal safety aside and ran toward danger without hesitation.

    It's been a while since I naively thought cops would learn from their colleagues' mistakes & not exercise bad judgment on social media - and yet -> Madison Lake Police Chief faces backlash... This PD that has ZERO presence - I shouldn't be surprised

  10. All too familiar for everyone who went through Harvey just a year ago. 911 gets overwhelmed and rescue requests start coming in via social media non-stop. Certainly a task local government must plan to have help monitoring when you see a storm coming.
