    So ⁦⁩ can call a state of emergency for evacuees but not for the homeless in her own city? Why can’t Saint Mary’s Cathedral open its doors every night to house the homeless here? 🤔

    Just found out my sister & fam has to evacuate and the entire town of Healdsburg and Windsor. That’s about 45000(?) people. They’re going to our house for the weekend. B safe 🙏🏻

    Reminder that ICE is NOT allowed into the shelters in Marin, Petaluma, Santa Rosa, and Rohnert Park. There are Spanish and English speakers at every one. You can stay safe no matter your ethnicity

    has set up a temporary shelter at Saint Mary’s (1111 Gough) for evacuees, including pets, from the in Sonoma. Our staff and disaster trained volunteers will be on hand to assist with the animals.

    Video of fire on Los Amigos Road on the north end of Windsor, CA where the came close to Highway 101.

  17. Buses pulled up in front of Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital. It’s within the mandatory evacuation zone. About 100 patients will be moved to other hospitals. Ambulances will be arriving soon to move more critical patients.

    We are helping shelters impacted by the by taking in their adoptable animals, so they can house displaced animals. If you've been considering a new family member, now would a great time so we can make space for the new arrivals.
