    This is good news for everyone from different walks of life that have been campaigning to , but nothing finalised yet

    NEW: Labour sources say they were briefed by Business Secretary Alok Sharma last week and that the Sunday trading measures have been dropped from the bill. No sign of them. Labour believe there’s no other way for govt to change the law quickly - seems plans have been shelved.

    Good job done by from on earlier. There’s no economic case for removing Sunday trading hours, shop workers don’t want it, and it’s not popular with the public

    I hope MPs from all parties unite to we don't need 24/7 shopping, workers should not be pushed into Sunday working...also if big shops are closed on Sundays it helps local corner shops get some badly needed business
