    One very real way the 2020 election may dramatically affect the climate-related death count in 2050. Scientists tell us that really really bad things happen if we burn more than ~20% of proven reserves, and folks know that public lands/funds are our best shot.

    Gillibrand also builds on the movement, pledging not just to stop new drilling on public lands, but to ban fracking in existing leases. She also pledges to end fossil fuel exports. Again, similar to plan but fewer details. 8/
