I am giving a short talk in the morning session on Chromatin Regulators & TOP2 inhibitors in breast cancer. A collaboration with

My first
#KScancerepigenetics conference is officially done but it definitely won’t be my last. Great science and great people

Adam Durbin compares two histone acetyltransferase cousins: EP300 and CBP. They look similar, do similar jobs, but neuroblastoma cells need EP300 and don't really need CBP. Joined
@JunQiLab to build EP300-selective PROTAC, JQAD1. It kills neuroblastoma cells.#KScancerepigenetics -
Just now I increased my risk of cardiac arrest by walking up and asking a question in from of over 100+ scientists at
#KSgene /#Kscancerepigenetics meeting. 3 cups of coffee didn't help the situation either

If you're at
#KSgene/#KScancerepigenetics and would like to see my work on decoding sequencing contributions to transcription elongtion/termination choice, come find me at the last poster of the Gene Regulation section! -
Great talk by Sid Jain from the
@PeterLewisLab on EZHIP and H3K27M and inhibition of PRC2. Lots to think about. That's gonna be some thesis.#KScancerepigenetics#KSgene -

#KScancerepigenetics interesting talk from Rick Young showing evidence that small molecules localize to condensates and may explain sensitivity of large enhancers to certain drugs -
New data looking in RB1 KO lines and see that at heterochromatic locations that RB1 regulates (eg telomeres and centromeres) see increased UV susceptibility.

A Morrison gives stellar talk on how formation of DNaA lesions by UV light are regulated by chromatin architecture. Chromatin on outside is more accessible (like LADs). Model: heterochromatin LADs are a sunscreen for euchromatic region!
