    In high school, I caught the bus at 5:55 a.m. and didn't get to school until about 7:25 a.m. (five minute before the first bell). It was brutal. I used to snuggle up in the back seat (by the heater) and sleep the whole way in.

    How early is too early to catch the school bus? One 7 year old in Aldine ISD has to be out there at 5:30. Her dad says she’s exhausted. The school district says the early pick-up is unavoidable
