I was reminiscing about this television special, produced & directed by Joe Layton back in 1977, where I got to pretend & play tribute to Josephine Baker, Ethel Waters & Bessie Smith. It brought back really fond memories. Felt like yesterday… time passes so quickly… #DianaRoss

The French Way ( Fausse Alerte ) 1945 is a charming farce centered around the glorious Josephine Baker. This was Josephine last movie. It’s a shame that Hollywood never gave Baker a shot. Well it’s their loss and France’s Gain !
