    A2. Make sure your LinkedIn profile is up to date and "open' to Recruiters, be sure to sell your skill set in your summary using keywords and check the Jobs tab on a regular basis & set up alerts.

    A1 1. Join groups that focus on job postings. Don't only look for jobs as a spectator, but engage in these groups too. 2. Go to the Facebook pages of company which you'd love to work at - engage with their Facebook community, and also reach out to the company.

  6. A2: Social media is an equal opportunity platform so make sure you are contributing your expertise to discussions. You just might be tagged by an employer.

  7. A3: Job search is about you "the product" being profiled to opportunities that you are interested in or match your expertise. Twitter allows you the space & opportunity to build a profile, showcase your skills & direct recruiters to you.

    A4. I have heard of companies using SnapChat and even TikTok for recruiting purposes, but I don't know anyone who has ever used these to find a job (though I am a bit long in the tooth for these new-fangled social networks)

    A4: Recruiters using paid for advertising through FB will also automatically have their jobs on Instagram, so keep an eye on that as well.

    A4: Some recruiters / employers have youtube channels where they do job description / advert videos. Very new to SA still, but keep an eye out! This will most likely be shared on their other social media platforms like Facebook/Twitter/LinkedIn.

    A4: WhatsApp. A lot of Recruiters advertise position on WhatsApp groups. People also share jobs with their friends and families on WhatsApp. Instagram. Some recruitment agencies/ recruiters share their positions on their instagram feeds.

    A3. Post a tweet saying what type of jobs you are looking for, what skills and qualifications you have and ask your followers to retweet and refer you for any suitable opportunities. Pin this to your profile page

    A3. If you follow an account that tweets organically, i.e. a human is managing it on a day-to-day basis and replies to tweets then you can engage with them in regard to jobs that they are hiring for

    A3: I would search for a person who is currently working in the role you want, and look into their background, and interests, as well as any projects they're working on.

    A3. By updating your profile; including a link to your resume/portfolio, Recruiters list jobs under certain hashtags, by participating in various chats related to your field or job search chats (), also by reaching out to recruiters/hiring mgrs on Twitter.

    A3: Follow hashtags about jobs/vacancies/posts. I would also follow career coaches/ recruiters/ recruitment agencies/ hiring companies on Twitter, since they post vacancies on Twitter.

    A3) You can also (in most cases) contact the company you hope to work for directly on Twitter, however a lot of companies (in all honesty) have Twitter accounts covered in dust but it's always worth a try, you never know who may see your tweet
