#JapansSecretShame was a really powerful documentary and I'd thoroughly recommend everyone watch it. I had no idea about the taboo surrounding sexual assault in Japan. It's truly awful.

#JapansSecretShame show how Japan treats women who are rooted there. It shocked British people. I've been telling my friends in the UK about the issue in Japan, but there's so much one can do. I'm glad Shiori and BBC made the powerful documentary to reveal how corrupted Japan is.

#JapansSecretShame Once I made a Japanese expat sacked when we were working for a Japanese mega bank branch in London because he molested and almost raped me when I asked him for career advice. Thankfully the bank had British HR officers. I'll fight again if that happens again.

I can't believe the things I'm hearing in this documentary #JapansSecretShame Only 8% of police are female, not all hospitals have rape kits, consent is non-existent, girls getting groped on the train to SCHOOL & thinking its normal & men only allowed to 'allege' rape since 2017!

Completely shocked by #japanssecretshame on BBC2. I’ve been there twice and loved it. This would really put me off going back, I’d no idea rape and sexual assault victims were treated so badly there.

Japan suddenly dropped off my list of Must Visits. Watching #japanssecretshame & am horrified by its dismissive attitude to sexual assault. 8% of police force are women so when a rape victim files a charge they have to recreate the assault with a life-size doll

Watching #JapansSecretShame is shocking and utterly heartbreaking. What really upsets me is women turning on each other. Instead of supporting the victim, they blame her.... Blame the man who committed the crime!
