  6. Year 6 have been estimating and measuring everyday items using metric units of measurement. We then used this to answer comparison and estimating questions.

    Since the end of the day, Year 5 boys have answered 3506 questions at home and Year 5 girls 3196. This 'Battle of the Bands' finishes tomorrow. Fantastic effort by everyone to support their team so far!! It'll be close-we'll find out tomorrow

    Reception are making conker shutes. Which is the fastest, which conker goes furthest? "It's conker world" The children measure and mark on the ground how far they travel. The children make more and more elaborate shutes.

    A great day in Year 6! We started without outdoor Maths - which operations did you run to to help you solve the problem? We followed this with Art in the afternoon -mixing different shades of gold, ready to paint our death masks later this week!
