    In my late teens and early 20s, just as I was exploring my sexuality, fear, hatred and intolerance of homosexuality combined with a virus to kill people like me and people like my friends. I wrote this for Huff Post on the memories triggered.

    Having finally caught up with … damn I love Russell T Davies. Any show that can take you from being brought to tears by a character's death in one episode, and then the next has you grinning as another character pisses in Margaret Thatcher's coffee, is to be commended.

    Finished watching 💔😭 I remember the stigma surrounding HIV & AIDS in the 1980s & 1990s. I’m so glad society & medicine has come a long way. But that BBC One & ITV declined to develop the series because of its subject matter shows society still has some way to go.

    Finally watched and I’ve been sobbing in to my blanket. A beautiful and heartbreaking depiction of what life must have been like at the time for all those souls, whether together or alone. Heartbreaking. 🙏🏻
