    Watching coverage on the Weather Channel right now hoping eveyone I know in the Carolinas are ok and realizing why everyone was so worried about us during last year. Hurricanes are NO JOKE! This shit is scary.

    So true. I volunteered for the Red Cross after So many people left without there pets. We had lost our sweet Harrison 3 months before and I wanted to help. That’s when I found out that even though we have a few pet friendly shelters they separate you from your pet.

    Tracking Hurricane ? Keep a radio in your Disaster Kit. Why, you have cell phone right? Until cellular services goes out, happen to me during Hurricane . No power, no WiFi , no cellular data. Radio was my only source for news and updates.

    A year ago today hit Florida. The center of the storm moved over Cudjoe Key at 9:10 am as a category 4 hurricane with winds at 130 mph. The storm then tracked north and made it's 7th and final landfall at 3:30 pm near Marco Island as a cat. 3 (115 mph).

  17. Hurricane showcased Puerto Rican solidarity. Even while facing destruction at home, rose up and assisted our Caribbean brothers and sisters in need. When faced by adversity, coming together will always be the answer.
