"At a time when anti-Semitism is rising and when public awareness of the Holocaust is waning, we cannot let our guard down and assume the world won’t forget," writes

We need

Seventy-five years ago today, the prisoners of Auschwitz were liberated. On
#InternationalHolocaustRemembranceDay, we continue to tell these stories as a means to understand the past and ensure that these atrocities never happen again. -
They never once let us forget how fortunate we are.

I am the granddaughter of a Holocaust survivor. His legal birth name is forgotten, but his English name was Leo. His murdered parents were Berta and Geza. His murdered siblings were Selma, Nellie, and Max. Do right by them.

Today, marks
#InternationalHolocaustRemembranceDay - 75 years since the hell on earth of Auschwitz was liberated. Today, we remember the 6 million men, women and children who were murdered simply because they were Jewish- 6 million lives cut short. Today I think of my grandma. pic.twitter.com/rSKj05NJxe

Are any other of the world leaders attending
#InternationalHolocaustRemembranceDay also going to meet with the murderous Palestinian Authority, or is it just Prince Charles? -
On
#Auschwitz anniversary &#InternationalHolocaustRemembranceDay we've had two very blatant acts of anti-Semitism in#Finland. Frustrating that neo-Nazis can spout their hate in Tampere city centre apparently un-hindered by police...https://newsnowfinland.fi/domestic/anti-semitic-acts-in-tampere-and-turku-as-finlands-leaders-mark-holocaust … -
Never again must mean never again for anyone. On
#InternationalHolocaustRemembranceDay, we look back on one of the darkest chapters of our history and band together to bring forth a brighter future. pic.twitter.com/eQsl1S5ibgRemembering the Holocaust -
As a child of survivors from another Genocide, I know I must speak, demand justice, remember. One of our great poets said, "should our children forget such great cruelty, let the whole world decry our shame!" We must always remember.

This is where the story gets funny. Asia Argento started posting about
#GiornatadellaMemoria2020 which is#InternationalHolocaustRemembranceDay. She made sure to post a story where she pretends that she never reads Twitter and someone had to send her a tweet her mother posted.

My grandmother's younger sister Edith. She was murdered in

#InternationalHolocaustRemembranceDay. We must NEVER forget!#NeverAgain -
I remember my great great grandmother, Priva Knacker, and her daughter (my great aunt) Elizabet Frank, who were murdered by the Nazis at Auschwitz. I remember Elizabet’s baby son, whose name we will never know, but who also died.

On the 75th Anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz and in commemoration of
#InternationalHolocaustRemembranceDay we vow to never let the memory of the 6 million Jews murdered in the Shoah fade away. We say out loud today and everyday, with resolve and conviction, never again. -
On
#InternationalHolocaustRemembranceDay we must bear witness to atrocities fellow humans can wage on one another. Learn the history of hells like Auschwitz & tragedies in villages like Lidice. God rest the souls of the innocents and may their memories be a blessing.#NeverAgain
