    Happy ! 🦫 Do you have a question about beavers? Not sure who to ask? Ask me! I did my PhD on & still study them! No question is too silly, small, or strange. If I can’t answer your question, I’ll probably know who can & will point you to them.

    It’s ! Got a question about ? Not sure who to ask? Ask me! I did my PhD on beavers & once I talked about beavs so much on a rafting trip that the guide made a special detour to show me a nearby dam! If I can’t answer I will tag someone who can!

    It's ! Bucky and I wish we were gnawing a beaver tail, which is fried dough pastry 😋 Beaver tails are on the truly Canadian food list, along with maple syrup and poutine...and milk sold in bags 😂🇨🇦

    Happy ! We know they are incredible eco-system engineers but did you know they are also (watery) gardeners? Pic from yesterday where they have purposely split plants & pushed them into their dams where they take root & help to strengthen the dam. 🦫💪👍

    Just found out it’s so of course Castoroides is showing up. At up to 200 pounds or so, heavier than an extant Sun Bear.
