Talent is a hot topic. Technology impacts talent development and performance including AI enabled training, performance enhancing equipment, and coming soon, genetically engineered athletes! #innochat

In the longer term, technology has been influencing the nature of the competition in many sports, whether it's in motor racing vehicles and safety or sailing in foiling catamarans. Also, it has been having substantial influences on umpiring processes and systems. #innochat

Check out pitch spin rates since MLB starting measuring every pitch. Amazing how many pitchers were routinely juicing the ball in response to all the hitters that used to be juiced up on steroids before the league clamped down on them. Its a level playing field again! #innochat

On “Innovation in Sport”, who has followed trends in yacht racing in recent years. Foiling catamarans in the America’s Cup, Sail GP, and other races travel at up to 3 times the wind speed! Umpires cannot hope to keep up, and thankfully new technology helps them. #innochat
