Horror creatives and fans have the ability to look deeply into and explore their fears. I think this makes them more prepared for challenges and crisis and makes us ultimately feel LESS afraid, different and alone.

Horror is the most beautiful of genres. The amount of work people put into creating the FX is amazing. Horror is my inspiration to create. It’s a genre that can make me feel every emotion. I’ve laughed, I’ve cried, and of course, I’ve felt terror in horror films

#ImAHorrorFan because horror, more so than any other genre, is about badass women destroying evil - and if there's any time in our history where we need more of that, it's now pic.twitter.com/LXoGL4C6ns

I’m a Black queer babe that loves naps, pink, and all things horror. I look at horror through a feminist lens— its accessible across races, class, genders etc. There’s a compelling story for everyone, anyone can be the hero (or villain
) and the community is dope #ImAHorrorFan pic.twitter.com/LVZXShM1CA

The horror community is the most inclusive, heartfelt, and decent group of people that I've ever known. Your stereotypes can rightly fuck off!

#ImAHorrorFan because films have the power to make us feel emotions, even if that may be to scare or disturb us. Horror films can be artistic & explore dark themes about humanity. Hereditary is my favorite of the year, earning the title of 1 of the best horror films ever made! pic.twitter.com/NFU9fDQcmv

The world was not a good place to be when I was a little girl. Horror made its walls ghostly, pushable, questionable. If there were ghosts and demons, gods and miracles were possible too. Wishes. Magic. Other worlds. Horror made the world mine to decide. My place.
