Well, I went and did it to myself. I was so excited after the
#icegiants2020 workshop that I volunteered to give a talk at my university why we need to fund an orbiter to explore Uranus and Neptune. Now I need to put together said talk, which is scheduled for the Feb 24. :-) -
Well, let’s make someone’s (i.e.
@girlandkat ) dream a reality. Which one should we visit?#IceGiants2020#icegiantsPrikaži ovu nit -
I dreamt the
#IceGiants2020 meeting concluded with a twitter poll led by@LucaPlanets, in which we all voted whether to go to Uranus or Neptune. The winning destination was Neptune. As far as I am concerned, this has now been decided and I expect us to leave shortly.Prikaži ovu nit -

#xkcd deliberately timed posting this comic at the end of the#IceGiants2020 meeting to start or avoid a fight. Top planetary trolling. https://xkcd.com/2258/ -

An ambitious mission to an Ice Giant world will be a paradigm-shifting mission that will change the shape of planetary science for a generation. It’s a challenge, but it’s achievable, it’s exciting, and it’s time to make it happen! Thanks to everyone at

Perfect timing, as
#IceGiants2020 is happening here in@RoyalAstroSoc right now, advocating for an ambitious robotic mission to explore the#FrozenFrontier. From all the@IcyGiants scientists here in London, we wish the RAS a very happy 200th birthday!https://twitter.com/RoyalAstroSoc/status/1219998818399326209 …
