#IAmADemocrat, because the two Democratic Presidencies I have lived through in my lifetime ended with the country in better shape than when they started off, and the two Republican Presidencies I've lived through were utter shitshows.

#IAmADemocrat I stand for common sense gun control, equal pay for everyone, universal health care. I also care about what happens to women, children, LGBTQ people, disabled, poor, abused, immigrants and everyone else who is forgotten. I actually care where most reds do not.

#IAmADemocrat for exactly the same reasons that you are. I am also a Christian, & another reason I'm a Democrat is *because* I'm a Christian. Jesus loves ALL people, not just straight white men. I will never ever understand Christians who support the GOP, especially today's GOP.

#IAmADemocrat bc I believe in JUSTICE and EQUALITY for all incl: Opps for financial equity and distribution of wealth; opps for affordable healthcare, education and housing for all; priority to children already born and living OVER embryos.

#IAmADemocrat because I saw my dad lose his factory job trying to organize a union. I learned to be for the little guy and the underdog.

#IAmADemocrat because I think we can all have good lives while also caring for the vulnerable people in our society. We all do better when we work together and care about one another.

#IAmADemocrat because I believe everyone should have what they need and I'm happy to share whatever I have to ensure that happens.

#IAmADemocrat because my grandfather figured out racism sucks in 1935 and I don't know why conservatives are still working on it.

#IAmADemocrat because I believe in education, equality, and caring for my fellow human beings, and that our planet needs our concerted effort to remain livable for all of us.

#IAmADemocrat because I work with people with disabilities helping them find jobs and be productive members of society and only Democrats are concerned with this issue. Also because I was raised by parents who were Democrats who cared about others with less opportunity.
