    Yeah....it’s especially hard if you’re on the right side. I’ve been here 21 years. Was never scared til last year. I hate to leave cause of looters. Cat 1 isn’t bad tho....our house has made it thru cat 3’s with no damage so far. Knock on wood

    I’m so grateful to be on the other side of and even more thankful for the mutual aid from the Indiana Municipal Electric who cleared the downed lines in front of my house so we could leave & restock supplies! Check out the sticker.

    [2/2] Last September, crawled by & generated a slightly lower storm surge (3.92', or 1.5" less than Wilma's) but was near high tide, so the storm tide was 4.75' above mean sea level (13" *higher* than Wilma's). Tide phase makes a big difference when it comes to flooding!
