One problem with mandatory double blind reviewing is the direct conflict with open sourcing software to have it used by intended audience - that makes anonymization impossible. I am glad that it's optional not mandatory for
#ieeevis for exactly this reason. -

Even CHI is not fully blind AFAIK: ACs know who the authors are, no? In any case, yes, I can’t see why
#ieeevis should not be double-blind. -
