    One problem with mandatory double blind reviewing is the direct conflict with open sourcing software to have it used by intended audience - that makes anonymization impossible. I am glad that it's optional not mandatory for for exactly this reason.

    I think double blind submissions to require an infrastructure that supports this. Anonymizing papers and Videos might be tedious but is possible. Hosting demos anonymously is hard. Btw, I would love to see an openreview process like has.

    Even CHI is not fully blind AFAIK: ACs know who the authors are, no? In any case, yes, I can’t see why should not be double-blind.

    Confused by other people's data visualizations? It probably isn't your fault - the author was likely cursed by their own expertise. Am lucky to work with the incredible , this is one of her 3(!) papers this year.
