The NIH requires disclosures of “significant” financial conflicts — valued at more than $5,000 a year — because outside income from interested parties can potentially affect researchers’ objectivity...
#ICMJE should demand this from editors.@AnnalsofIMhttps://twitter.com/pash22/status/1212398841862881281 … -
#ICMJE has opened up the#COI form for comments so that it reflects the evolution in how#COI is perceived. Now's our chance to contribute!#journals#medcomms#publication#publicationethics#transparency#bias#ethics https://lnkd.in/e56ACeS -
I think while there are a lot of grey areas, disclosing financial COI should not be so complicated for psychologists. The
#ICMJE criteria are pretty straightforward especially if you use the form. For non-financial COIs it's more complicated. -
Yes! A librarian's contribution to the systematic review process is often worthy of

How frustrating was having got a reply our center did not deserve a role in the authorship after having participated to the study with 35 patients, according to the

Not sure I agree with this piece from
@timeshighered the guidelines from#icmje say all authors take responsibility once published. I think this could encourage addition of authors who don’t meet#icmje criteria@C0PE@MarkHayter1@Hughmckh@DrAlexMClarkpic.twitter.com/hnbQsbibyK

A New Year's resolution for all of us: Let's make 2018 the year in which scientific journals said goodbye to statistical significance.
