    If it wasn't for the cap, we'd probably be talking a significant severe storm and tornado setup across North-Central IA, Southern MN, Southwest WI on Saturday. However, this cap looks to be rock solid right now--a surface temp >105F required to break through.

    Thurman, IA F1 – September 8, 1989! 14 mile path. An RV was blown off of I-29 and 3 people were injured. here were destroyed grain bins near Thurman and an overturned mobile home east of town.
