    One year ago today, at around this time, made landfall. It caused ~$50 billion in damage & was the strongest hurricane to strike Florida since Charley. I know people who lost power for a week and those who lost their homes. Never underestimate a storm’s potential.

    One year ago today, we fled with our 3 month old, 2 pups, and just important stuff. It was terrifying. Being a native Floridian, I had never been that afraid of a storm before. Grateful to have a normal day at home today. ❤️

    A year ago today hit Florida. The center of the storm moved over Cudjoe Key at 9:10 am as a category 4 hurricane with winds at 130 mph. The storm then tracked north and made it's 7th and final landfall at 3:30 pm near Marco Island as a cat. 3 (115 mph).

    One year ago, slammed into South Florida and it was raining a lot with gusty winds 🌬, tornado watches and warnings🌪 and flooded streets. I was glad to stay safe with my mom and dad along with grandma during this hurricane season. 🌀🌫⛈
