I've never been nominated for the , but it's a dream of mine to one day hold that rocket. This year, the Green Bone Saga is eligible for Best Series. It's the best thing I've ever written and maybe ever will write. I'd be honored if you'd consider it for the ballot.

I understand why hopeful writers like myself, who'd love that sweet Mickey Money, hesitate on talking about this, but everybody should. I have no hopes that people will boycott Disney, but at least voters of the and should avoid voting for Disney stuff.

  10. The last thing I'll say about the is that I encourage you to think outside the box in your nominations. SFF/H is a huge field, and there are so many people doing fantastic work who never get nominated. We don't need to keep giving trophies to the same people.

What a day, what a time, seeing both and nominated for ! In the early days of the mag, we never expected to receive award recognition. Instead, we decided to lean fully into our mission of opening doors and making ways for Black SFF authors.
