  6. Five years ago today. I voted Yes, with these two alongside me, before dropping them to school. Then I drove to work, sobbing as I heard all the stories flood in. I remember himself telling me to find a quiet room to go lie down in for a while! 😂

  7. I remember watching with absolute joy & pride as Irish citizens from across the world flew home to cast their votes in Repeal the 8th & same-sex marriage referenda. We may very well have our own when a Border Poll is called, this group will be incredibly important.

  8. One year ago today, as I flew over Ireland, I took this picture. Undoubtedly joined in the sky alongside thousands of Irish women and men, making the journey home, to cast their vote; to change the landscape of our country forever. And that we did. We repealed. 🇮🇪

    After my previous run-in with Ireland’s blasphemy law, it’s encouraging to see that it could be repealed soon. Lots of fine Irish people will once again need to go to help usher in the new, tolerant, liberal Ireland:
