    I took part in a discussion about sizeism, an oppressive condition many patients suffer in silence. It also keeps many people from seeking much needed public health & healthcare services. It is a long read yet very much so worth it.

    So I got my period yesterday (a week early) & it’s heavy & I’m bloated & crampy. This is the fourth month after having the IUD implanted. I thought this was supposed to go away?!

    Ohhhh MY Lord😳this is beyond sad & wrong on SO many levels

    Jesimya is dead because America is the only industrialized country in the world that doesn’t treat health care as a human right. I will fight for a fairer, more just health care system—and I'll do it with Jesy in mind. My condolences are with his family.

    Americans will not suffer from bankruptcy and losing jobs when getting sick with and the prevent the danger of cost cutting & unsafe staffing because of for-profit hospital business agenda.

    Come on America, We. Can. Do. This! will save families, businesses and our nation trillions of dollars. It’s right morally and it’s right economically! Ooooooowee, a perfect combination!

    As the buffoon administration and idiotic conservative judges tell people with preexisting conditions to F-Off and die or commit suicide already. Some of us actually want to live, mostly. PERHAPS BETTER HEALTHCARE instead of trying to kill people!

    A federal judge today allowed the Trump administration's expansion of short-term insurance plans to go forward. This will give healthy people access to skimpier plans with lower premiums, while leaving those with pre-existing conditions in a sicker pool and higher premiums.

    Heads up to the team Read this thread. Why is health insurance fraud so frickin easy?? That’s just one more reason sick folks can’t get treatment and meds.

    1/ A woman discovered her ex husband was defrauding health insurance companies for millions. She tried bringing him to justice. It didn’t go as expected. (This story is one of the wildest I’ve reported.) Here’s what happened:

    Thank you for this comprehensive review. My family’s relationships with healthcare is tenuous at best. I have an Uncle living 3 states away who will wait months to see a doctor until I can fly into town to accompany him.
