  15. does not *stop* bushfires—it slows them. Still valuble but it doesn't make much difference in CATASTROPHIC conditions.

    Clearing after fires makes the situation worse but our new premier, Peter Gutwein, has made it a cornerstone of his bushfire policies. When are politicians going to listen to science?

  17. “Forest products”. ???Calling it ? There’s no low too low for these Lib/Nat moneygrubbers. Forget drug checks. Every one of them should be audited annually, starting with Taylor, Dutton, Joyce, McKenzie, Robert...well, the whole piggish lot of them.

    Im going to assume this is sarcasm? It only seems like people who dont get the link between trees and rainfall? is a euphamism for more clearing but where the fk will the last koala live - a zoo?
