    Guaido is not an interim president (never has been) & he is not longer a member of our National Assembly. Furthermore, NA’s members cannot self-proclaim themselves nor ignore that their term is over, even more so if they weren’t re-elected.

    That’s right. Although, Trump’s ordeal does not extend to blocking him from purchasing life-saving food, medicines, medical equipment & seeing more than 50K of US citizens die because of his criminal sanctions -like he’s done to Venezuelans.

    The UK continues to recognise the Venezuelan National Assembly elected in 2015 and to recognise its president as interim president, since legislative elections in December were neither free nor credible. We call on all Venezuela's leaders to support the restoration of democracy
