Still on cloud nine. At the 12 mile mark, I was passed by the leader of the full marathon and he really inspired me to keep going & not give up. One day, I’ll be ready for 26.2, but until then I’m going to cherish being able to complete half of that.

It was tough. I wanted to quit...several times. Everything that could go wrong, did. I fell, I got blisters, and my legs cramped. But I pushed through (walking 9 miles) and finished within my time of 4 hrs to 4.5 hours.
