    Senator Mitch McConnell: 1 year ago today, the House introduced the bipartisan, universal background checks bill. 315 days ago, the House passed the bill and sent it to the Senate. Why won’t you allow a vote? Americans want us to pass NOW. It would save lives.

    My son was at the STEM HR shooting. We need a to protect our kids. Irresponsible owners should no longer be allowed to legally compromise the safety of those around them. Make secure proper storage & transportation the law!

    makes it a crime to loan a gun to a friend who is being targeted by a stalker. That person must go through the 10 day wait and background check. "Time out evil stalker, my background check isn't done yet!" That's not safety for anyone, except the stalker.

  18. This is a tragedy & an outrage! The House passed 2 gun background-check bills nearly a year ago, long before impeachment. No one law can prevent every murder, but & would SAVE LIVES. The Senate should vote on those bills!

    There are over 400 pieces of legislation sent to the Senate from the House this past year,many bipartisan like ,but its fine for to not do any work on them, to refuse them for debate,because he believes it would make look good. Now, you want a pass again?!
