#HFPA just voted yes to selling #GoldenGlobes to Todd Boehly. That means members are now his employees. He now has ownership in the trades, the show, the venue, the brand & the production company behind the show + the nominated show. They should just call it the Todd Boehly show.

Details on the Golden Globes deal from inside sources: 76 voted to sell to Todd Boehly, 18 voted against. Todd Boehly will pay the 100 #HFPA members $75k per year for the next 5 years. He can sell 10% per year starting next year.
