    Looking at Ghūrid coins today, sharing bc they’re a good example of . The Ghūrids ruled Afghanistan in the 12-13th centuries, famous for minaret of Jam, which has the entire Qurʾanic chapter of Maryam on it, and this Qurʾan w/ interlinear Persian translations.

    A large hoard of over 200 Arabic coins from the 8th and 9th centuries found in Strzelinko in North Poland, close to the Baltic Sea. Interestingly, it also contains two Sassanid coins from the early 7th century.
