    Top players like Aaron Donald, Khalil Mack & Zack Martin are not at OTAs as they wait to get a new deal. After seeing a couple of players suffer unfortunate injuries yesterday, it makes no sense that Odell Beckham Jr. is out there with the before getting his new deal.

    As a rookie, Trent Richardson rushed for 950 yards and 11 TDs with 51 catches and 367 yards. Pat Shurmur was his head coach. Shurmur's offense has evolved since his days in Cleveland, but may be worth considering those numbers as the floor for Saquon Barkley in 2018.

    Couple more observations from yesterday's OTAs ... 1) I haven't seen Saquon drop a pass yet in 3 practices (two in rookie camp, one yesterday). I mean, even in a drill against air. So many plays for have been short-circuited by the simplicity of RBs dropping easy passes

    Russell Shepard, the newest WR has been a mystery for years. A top high school dual threat QB. Never really found his way at LSU, or in the pros as a WR. Intriguing.
