  1. GIS is a big part of how we keep track of fossil sites in Alberta. Using GIS, we can take spatial data of fossil localities and compare this information to geological records. This helps us map where we find fossils across Alberta and what time period they’re from.

  2. Excited to speak at Stanford today for on the topic of privacy and mass surveillance! My talk is titled Privacy in the Panopticon, and I will explore some of the philosophy underpinning modern surveillance systems. I will share slides tomorrow.
