TDs are paid €96,189. You'd think it'd be a full time job. But in Dublin Bay South one candidate has time to run a chain of pharmacies & supervise 25 staff. And also manages a portfolio of 13 investment properties (while voting to protect landlord interests in the Dail)

Absolutely loving the 'Young people are gravitating towards Sinn Fein because they can't remember the troubles' instead of 'Young people are gravitating towards Sinn Fein because they have been priced out of their own country' takes from respected commentators

A minimum wage of €10.10 per hour at a 40 hour a week full time job assuming you take nearly no holidays or sick leave, gives you around €20,000 a year. Average rent in Dublin is between €19,200 and €22500 this year. Do that maths for me please Senator?

Fine Gael have seriously overestimated how much people hate Sinn Fein and underestimated how much they hate living with their parents ill their 30

As a wrinkly who has voted left wing all my life, I have only one question for the young people voting left in What the fuck kept ye?

  8. Oh look. The same responses apply to the question "will Fine Gael solve the housing crisis?" Nope.. No way.. Not a chance.. Never mind the spin, vote Sinn Féin

Multiculturalism has been a disaster for as it has been for all of the EU. Nothing we do will solve the problems of Africa or its people. They are being used as pawns in the UN replacement game. It’s time to end this insanity for once and for all.

I reckon RTE should go ahead with Leo Varadkar vs Micheal Martin in the debate and then half way through, go full WWE by blaring Come Out Ye Black and Tans as Sinn Fein's entrance music "Oh my God JR, it's Mary Lou"

So.. you mean to tell me it’s the families on over 100k a year that need that 10.5k back? Meanwhile the minimum wage earners are paying €600-800 a month for a bedroom & not even entitled to help? How are people even considering giving these their vote??

Disappointed to note that no candidate in is pandering to me on my pet policy: moving the Oireachtas out to a warehouse in Baldoyle Industrial Estate, reclaiming Leinster House as a museum and reuniting the National Library, National Museum and National Gallery as one

  16. I'm asking you to give Sinn Féin the chance to show you what can be done when a party in government cares about you.

So glad Mary Lou was given the space to call-out Micheál Martin for his cynical posturing when it comes to the legacy of the conflict in the north. "With Micheál Martin this is entirely party-political posturing - because, you see, we are an all-Ireland republican party."

Fine Gael at the door. Paschal's crew. It's raining. "No. I won't be voting for him. I want change." "Paschal's in trouble." "Well I want change..." "I grew up along the Border and I know what Sinn Féin are like." I never mentioned Sinn Féin.
