  5. After her dad passed away from dementia, Chris knew she wanted to raise money to 'give this disease the kicking it deserves!' Ahead of her 60th birthday she's trying 60 ways to fundraise - from Memory Walks to a tai chi class - and has raised £3,000 so far! 💙

  6. These two incredible sisters have donated 12 and 13 inches of hair each, and also raised €1817.75 for The Little Princess Trust. Thank you so much Ria and Tess, you rock!

    Our is Oliver Clough who represented us at the World's Toughest Mudder in Atlanta - a non-stop, continuous, 24h race of a 5 mile obstacle course. Oliver raised £600 & completed 50 miles, with just short breaks for food. An incredible effort - thanks Oliver!

    Today's is Steve Wetton who took on our challenge by swimming the 'English Channel' (21 miles) for 24 hours! Steve's daughter, Tahlia was diagnosed with after her 1st birthday last January.

    This is a special fundraiser, Lexie & her Granny & Grandad who have just celebrated their 70th birthday and asked for donations to JDRF rather than presents and raised £750! Thank you so much and happy birthday to Lexie's Granny & Grandad from JDRF. 🎂😍

  16. Today's very special is our national partner Sir Robert McAlpine ( )! The company has raised £634,865 for us in 5 years, and are on track to raise the pledged £1 million over 10 years. A huge thank you to the Sir Robert McAlpine family and staff!

    Today’s is Amelia Baker, 13, & everyone in 9Q in Surrey. Amelia’s sister Ella, 12, was diagnosed with age 3. Amelia & 9Q donated funds from a ‘£10 challenge’ & organised a film night to raise a total of £107.40 for JDRF! Well done!

  18. This week's comes with a dash of unicorn magic... Seven year-old Elizabeth took part in a sponsored one-mile swimming challenge, raising over £400 in the process! Catherine, her proud mum, said, 'She is an incredible little person who has so much to give.' 🌟🦄

  19. Today we're saying a thank you to Diana. Working on a stroke ward, she's seen how dementia can impact families and wanted to make a difference for them. After taking part in a sponsored trek to Cambodia (and a parachute jump!), she's raised over £6,300! 💙

    Congratulations to our Alison Sykes for raising £1336.37 at work through a bake sale and dress down days. Alison asked for matched funding and Barclays matched the £922.50 raised at the bake sale, raising the total to an amazing £2258.87!
