    Going to see my good friend on her last night home before reporting for her sentence and I don’t know how to express how STUPID it is they are locking her up during COVID or at all. She’s taking it a lot better than me, I want to scream.

    Thanks ILRAJ for raising an important conversation about reviews of Presidential Pardon powers. Only 5 women in Freetown were pardoned, none in the provinces. Pregnant women and women with young children detained for minor offences were also not pardoned.

    If not used properly, pardons could lead to a lack of confidence in judicial system. The public will expect convicts who are influential to get pardoned after being convicted regardless of the offence. It may eventually lead to mob justice.

    In weird news…a new female ,Nyla Tomeka Murrell, is going viral after posting jail pictures of herself on .Her pictures sent swarms of men in a frenzy as many asked to cash app, post her bail, & hold it down for her until her prison sentence comes to an end.
