  12. Russian authorities don’t confirm Oleh Sentsov's presence in any of Moscow’s detention centres. So it is unknown at this point where the Kremlin’s prisoner is detained. Also he hasn’t been allowed to call his mother this month.

    Today is the birthday of filmmaker Oleg Sentsov, laureate of the 2018 Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought. Sentsov was abducted in Ukraine by Russian invasion forces in 2014. Since then he has been a political prisoner of the Russian regime of state terrorism.
