    My thoughts are on this also with all other prisoners of conscience in , in particular with Amina al Abdouli & Maryam al Balushi who remain behind bars even so their sentences came to an end.

  5. The torture, ill-treatment, abusive, inhuman and degrading treatment of prisoners of conscience in UAE’s prisons have become a norm rather than an exception.

  6. Amina al-Abdouli, Emirati teacher & mother of five, was arrested on 19 November 2015, from her home, then she was held at an undisclosed location, where she was subjected to torture & ill-treatment, including beating & blindfolding her & sleep deprivation.
