    We are deep in the & . Yet if current management practises continue the EU forest carbon sink will halve by 2050. However, if restored to health, EU forests could be absorbing triple the amount of carbon dioxide they currently remove.

  19. In the afternoon panel of EU's conference, MEP : the EU has a responsibility. Labelling hands over responsibility to consumers. That might not be sufficient. We must ensure all EU products are deforestation free!
