Props to . Yes, disabled people like to spend money on nice things, and yes they drink alcohol. It’s great that this is represented in media. Thanks!

  8. First time flying in 2 years. I'm giving a talk at on accessibility. One of the most stressful parts of is gatechecking your mobility aids & pray they don't get lost or destroyed. But not my Travelscoot. Folds up & fits in the overhead compartment🙌🏿

Close up view of an overhead compartment of an airplane with a small black suitcase in it next to a long red and green bag with the words Travelscoot embroidered in yellow on it, circled with a yellow marker and the text Travelscoot FTW with the raised hands emoji, a smiling proud emoji, the wheelchair emoji and the plane emoji

Apologies for making you cringe, wheelchair users, but it's never nice to get off a flight to see your carbon fibre frame dinged to the point that all the protective coating is gone D:

Basically airline kept breaking chairs and instead of providing good service decided to ban the chairs and the users from flying. Corporate greed and combine into injustice

Here's configuration #2 of how to stow 2 wheelchairs + luggage on a very small aircraft. Why must we justify this? Why can't we just go on honeymoon like nondisabled people ?

In a nutshell, this thread encapsulates what is is like flying if you are a wheelchair user.

  18. 's wheelchair replacement was an EMERGENCY. The replacement should have been comparable to her original chair. She should've been treated with dignity and respect at the airport. United should have never destroyed her chair.

  19. Wow the Ableds get this mad over seat position. Imagine how mad they would be if they landed and the airline lost their legs.....Or broke them.....and they had no right to sue for damages. IJS 👀
