    declared state of emergency earlier today and Eastern Canada will struggle with this historic flood during several days. It's been suggested the "100-yr return period events" are becoming more frequent and unfortunately evidence is validating such assertion.

    Filled over 1000 sandbags this afternoon in the rain in Constance Bay. If I can do it at 60+ years old, you can. Helping a neighbour in need is at the root of civilization. Volunteers needed tomorrow. All sorts of jobs for all abilities.
