I am the First Amendment. I love to tweet about myself. Take advantage of me but please don't violate me. (Parody, obvs.)
The Knight First Amendment Institute at Columbia University works to advance the freedoms of speech and the press through litigation, research, and education.
Someone explain to me, explain it to me like I’m in kindergarten, how enacting laws on the basis of the Christian Bible isn’t a violation of the first amendment rights of every Muslim, Jew, Hindu, Sikh, and Atheist in America.

This might be the best piece about Section 230 and the First Amendment I have ever read and it should be required reading for every member of Congress and every NGO that plans to engage on Big Tech regulatory debates. theverge.com/23435358/first by

I've been saying this for a while: Those who have a problem w §230 actually have a problem w the #FirstAmendment
But this article illustrates why the left wants *more* #contentmoderation, not less, seeing most right-leaning content as misinformation
I regret to inform you that is once again displaying her persistent (and at this point, willful) ignorance of the First Amendment.
Even without Section 230, there is no cause of action for "hate speech" or "election falsehoods."

Hey, ....why did the hashtag #DHSLeaks disappear so quickly yesterday? Given the nature of the information coming out, censoring it seems to prove that collusion between social media and the federal government is still happening. #FirstAmendment #1A
