    for union workers but it's breaking the gig economy. I need work flexibility & freelancing gives me the freedom to care for my special needs family. Let's work together to come up w/common sense bill to protect both parties. 

  4. This is the most disastrous law written right now. I do not need a union nor do I want one. I want to work when I want, how I want and for who I want! Protect my right to own my own business!

    I am glad you're helping real estate agents, grant writers, and lawyers! The way Big Law treats associates is brutal, and many can't earn enough to pay their student loans. Oh, wait, they are specifically excluded. for lobbyists.

    Fight for FreelancersNY is testifying Wednesday in Albany vs. overly restrictive definition of freelancers/independent contractors in Gov's proposed budget, which wd put many out of business. Anyone able to go show support? & next up:

    Medicare and Social Security are for people in their 60s and older. Portable benefits are for people who are younger than that. I can't believe I have to say these things out loud to a person entrusted to make laws.

    You had a chance to get this right, address true worker misclassification and also protect freelancers. Instead, CA forged ahead with a poorly written law that resulted in lawsuits and lost work. Congress: Don't make the same mistake NOT!
