So it’s been a tough few weeks. My fatigue levels have been horrendous and I lost my beloved dog jasmine after 13years. Taking it step by step and trying to look to the future

When life tests the fuck out of you, have that day of feeling so low. Start the next day with a new thought of this is going to be the day of getting better.

Functional neurological disorder
#FND is a condition where patients experience neurological symptoms: Weakness Movement disorders Sensory symptoms+blackouts. The brain of a patient with@FNDHope@FNDHopeUK symptom disorder is structurally normal, but functions incorrectly. -
Never have I ever seen a doctor (so-called Neurologist) speak publicly like this towards someone who is sick. Disgusting! In fact check out his whole attitude towards
#FND and his ignorance. Truly feel sorry for his patients, but alas unable to deal with further as in the US. pic.twitter.com/d6kdcdDHZl

Hey
#spoonie twitter - especially#MultipleSclerosis and#FND tweeps: my feet have started going numb as if they're cold and tingling with pinsbans needles. They're doing this regardless of the actual temperature. Worth mentioninf to Neuro? Or probably nothing? -
How can we crack
#FND is being ‘happy in your work’ an adult form of play.....if you enjoy it, the easier it is. “Less conscious control means we simply go with the flow” pic.twitter.com/BqurUyOEVS

1st check in with my neuro in over a year. Good news is I still have a few operating brain cells in there.
The bad news is there’s still no cure for #FND. So I’ll keep fighting, keep raising awareness, & keep on keeping on.#fndhope#fndaware#invisibleillness#holistichealingpic.twitter.com/8ztIUGAuua

#FND seems to be a diagnosis that is fairly common among patients suffering adverse effects from psychiatric drugs / drug withdrawal, this surely is not surprising given the effects of those drugs on the brain and CNS? -
Have a work meeting today to discuss my current
#FND related absence. Desperately trying to keep myself together, but I guarantee that I'm going to suffer episodes today. At least I have my best friend@G33K_King, plus wise advice from yesterday's@FNDHopeUK virtual meet up. -
Diagnosed with functional neurological disorder. Trying to not get overwhelmed researching info.
