My set-up for the conference today on #FMS. Awesome to see diverse workshops available for participants both in person and online. I honestly canโ€™t remember when I last presented in person. Maybe that will change in 2023...? #physed

Dubious photo for my article though eh? ๐Ÿ˜† 1. Overhand throw should always be taught with small balls. 2. The preparation phase for the overhand throw requires a downwards & backwards arc. Due to the size of the ball here they are static. We don't point to a target either ๐Ÿ˜… #FMS

So true. THANKFULLY, now that I have #LongCovid, the 4 docs I've seen have all said "rest". Sadly, in my 3 decades with #FMS #ME, NOBODY said that. EVERYONE said I had to exercise and had to push myself (though some said "pace"). It's amazing to now have this support finally.

I cannot stress how DANGEROUS it is for doctors (or anyone) to recommend exercise or "just pushing through" fatigue to people with #LongCovid/#pwME /#MECFS. You may as well be telling a diabetic to eat nothing but chocolate cake & drink nothing but Kool-Aid. #KnivesOutSpoonies

A beautiful example of formative assessment in everyday FMS being used across the school context for the benefit of children. Well done ๐Ÿ’œ #physed #FMS

Yes, Exactly! The children come to PE walking down stairs so itโ€™s the perfect opportunity for me to observe if they two step or cling onto the railings. I can also point out these observations to the classroom teachers.
