  8. Multiple people at told me that their dept had used my paper on last & corresponding authorship during discussions of a tenure case. So gratifying to hear, because that was exactly the sort of situation I had in mind when I wrote it!

    I’m not at , but am recruiting 1-2 PhD students as well as a research tech. My lab studies the genetics of adaptation in plants – specifically examining evolutionary responses to climate change and how adaptation contributes to invasions. 1/2

    Silu Wang's () poster at the recent meeting won the Ruth Patrick Award, given by the American Society of Naturalists () to an outstanding student poster. Interesting findings, and excellent example of an effective poster.
