    Act like the church? Take money tax free. Support a vulgar, hateful, narcissistic, multiple married man who raped a child and women., paid a porn star with other people’s money. Say nothing about innocent immigrants being caged. This is why I LEFT THE CHURCH.

    I don’t expect the world to act like the church, but our country has had a sense of moral decency on prime time TV in order to protect children. We see that disappearing before our eyes. It was demonstrated in tonight‘s Halftime Show—w/millions of kids watching.

    I went to a "non-denominational" church in Texas for ages 12-18, and it turned me off religion for almost a decade. The church had a "casual atmosphere" but authoritarian beliefs and implicit right-wing politics. One of the pastors was a gay conversion therapist.
